My Tragus Piercing Might Be Migrating or Rejecting >_<

I'm not sure if you can see it in this photo, which I have doctored in order not to disturb you too much with my horrible skin, but my tragus piercing is developing a "bubble" next to it. Now on the outside it looks like any regular old pimple but it actually goes all the way through my ear. I hope that it goes away soon. While it is gross, I also read that it is a sign that my ear might be migrating or rejecting the piercing, which would suck majorly.
Anyway, while I was poking in my ear today I found this little sucker. Gross, isn't it? I was HOPING that this would drain the bubble but no luck. No it looks like this thing is here to stay for the time being anyway.

Oh, poor grrl. :( I'm assuming you've swabbed the owwie with alcohol? Hope the piercing stays!

Apparently you are not supposed to use alcohol on a piercing. It dries the skin out and kills healthy cells. That's what my piercer and the interweb had to say about it anyway. I have been keeping the area clean with fragrance free non colored soap and giving it warm salt water rinses (it's kind of hard to soak with where it is) so we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I had better luck with alcohol. When I stuck with the recommended cleaners, my ears got infected. When I switched to an honest-to-god disinfectant, it cleared right up. Just my own experience. :)

Hmmm well my ear is still infected so maybe I will try it for a day and two and see if it clears up. The way they talk about it made me afraid the wrong stuff would rot my ear off or something, LOL. Let's just say that the last piercing I had was quite a while ago and I don't really remember what I did back then. In fact I think I was just terrible with cleaning them. Well it was just my lobes and they healed okay.
